Ground Control Station (GCS)
STARA’s Ground Control Station (GCS) is a field-deployable surveillance operations station where the system operators remotely monitor the information gathered from sensors. The GCS is a modified storage container with two (2) climate controlled rooms; an operator work area and a server room. Sensors provide situational awareness, target tracking, and alerts to operators who can then initiate responses to the developing situation.
The operator work area can have up to three (3) work stations. The GCS is powered with shore power or off-grid with generators or solar power and battery banks. The station is integrated with Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) parts tested to environmental MIL-Standard performance levels. STARA provides training on set up, operation, maintenance, tear down and follow-up support.
